A young man with prolonged fever and pulmonary nodules

Pulmonary nodules may pose a diagnostic challenge for physicians. The case is presented of a young man with prolonged fever, pulmonary nodules and a history of intravenous drug abuse. In-patient investigation revealed infective endocarditis of the tricuspid valve due to Staphylococcus aureus with septic pulmonary emboli.
