The case described concerns an 82-year-old female patient who was admitted to our hospital due to deterioration of mental status, seizures, and a temperature of 38 °C, on a pharmaceutical regimen that included escitalopram (SSRI) on a dosage recently increased, and mirtazapine. She was diagnosed with serotoninergic syndrome.
