Arch Hellen Med, 41(3), May-June 2024, 339-345 REVIEW Writing disorders in specific reading disorder (dyslexia) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder: D. Katsarou,1 E. Zerva2 |
Neurodevelopmental disorders are common in the student population and present a range of symptomatology, which often makes clear boundaries between the two disorders indiscernible. This fact has raised many debates in the scientific community about the phenomenon of comorbidity and whether they are considered different disorders or different manifestations of a common etiology, their symptomatology overlaps a clinical continuum, particularly evident in the interaction of the individual with the written word. It is therefore important to decide what the approach will be and how and to what extent it affects pedagogical management in the educational context.
Key words: ADHD, Clinical continuum, Dyslexia, Neurodevelopmental disorders, Written language.
