Comments on code of medical ethics – Law 3418/2005

The current code of medical ethics was issued in 2005. Its issue was necessary, taking into account the developments in medicine and the legislation changes of special laws concerning aspects of the medical practice. As in other countries, it will need to be revised. Thus, both from a legal and a medical point of view, the authors, taking into account other modern European codes, suggest some points for possible improvement in a reissue.
