Hematologic dyscrasias caused by medication - A. Dyscrasias of the red blood cell series

In this review the blood cell dyscrasias caused by medication administered for therapeutic purposes are discussed. The systemic presentation and the pathophysiological basis of red cell disturbances complicating the administration of various therapeutic agents are analyzed.
